Employment Law

Employees have the right to report the violations to the proper authority. The employee or employees who report the problems can do so knowing that, legally, they are protected from retaliation by their coworkers, managers, or business owners when information is provided to a government or law enforcement agency.

Unfortunately, employer retaliation commonly affects many workers who report discrimination, wage and hour, or safety problems in the workplace.

If you have been fired because of your complaints about what you reasonably believed were illegal business practices you may have a case.
