Neda Shahidyazdani, Esq.
Neda Shahidyazdani obtained her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, where she focused on international human rights, immigration law and transitional justice. She is admitted to the New York Bar and is member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Los Angeles Bar Association, New York Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Before joining Perona, Langer, Beck, Serbin and Mendoza, Ms. Shahidyazdani established SYM Immigration Law Group, utilizing her unique background to provide legal services to the immigrant community. Ms. Shahidyazdani has also practiced as a human rights lawyer at the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center. While at the center, she authored several reports on the rights of minorities which have been published and translated into five languages. Ms. Shahidyazdani has assisted with projects at Human Rights First and the Center for International Law at New York Law School. She received her B.A. in International Relations and Chinese Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has lived in India, China, and Russia where she worked extensively in the field of international development. She speaks both Farsi and Mandarin Chinese.
